Eminente is an exceptional Cuban rum from the heart of an island locals call ‘Isla del Cocodrilo’, evoking its unusual shape, resembling the native crocodile.
Conceived by César Martí, Cuba’s youngest Maestro Ronero, or master rum distiller, Eminente is a rich and full-bodied rum inspired by 19th-century Cuban sugarcane aguardientes, eaux-de-vie renowned for their aromatic complexity.
Cuban rum as we know it is a blend of aged aguardientes (Cuban sugarcane eaux-de-vie) and light rums. The aguardientes bring complexity and depth of aromas, while the light rum adds vitality thanks to the strength of the alcohol.
Elevating these refined aguardientes, Eminente proposes a rum made with a minimum of 70% aguardientes, the highest proportion of any Cuban rum.
